Changing behaviour through creativity.

For more than twenty-five years, I've helped organisations solve complex communication challenges through creative thinking.

Whether encouraging people to support a charity, helping healthcare professionals understand new science, launching a brand or winning new business, my goal has always been the same: create work that changes what people think, feel and do.

I've worked across an unusually broad range of sectors — from healthcare, finance and fintech to automotive, travel, food and drink — alongside charities tackling homelessness, cancer, dementia, animal welfare, global aid and social change.

Some of the organisations I've been fortunate enough to work with include UCB, Exact Sciences, NHS, British Red Cross, RSPB, Shelter, Bentley, Sky, Mastercard and many others.

I'm equally comfortable developing the big idea, presenting it to a senior client or getting stuck into the detail that makes the idea work. I've led creative teams, mentored younger creatives, built long-term client relationships and worked on more pitches than I can remember. Some have even won awards.

I believe good creative work is collaborative. Throughout my career I've worked closely with copywriters, designers, digital specialists, photographers, illustrators, strategists and clients to turn ideas into work that works across channels rather than simply looking good in one.

I'm deliberately channel-agnostic. The medium should serve the idea — whether that's a film, campaign, identity, digital experience, exhibition, piece of direct communication or something that hasn't been invented yet.

And while I've spent a lot of time working on screens, I still love the moment when an idea starts life as a rough sketch, a scribble or something on the back of a napkin.

Because the best creative work doesn't simply communicate.

It changes behaviour.

Most of the work on this site was created with my dear friend and long-time copywriting partner, Chris Myers. We worked together for many years, and much of the work you're seeing here grew out of that collaboration. Chris was an exceptional writer and a wonderful creative partner, and I feel very fortunate to have shared so much of my career with him.
